Welcome to Heathfield House Nursing Home
Heathfield House nursing home is an elegant Georgian mansion house, set in its own landscaped gardens. It is located in Kidlington, in the rural Oxfordshire countryside, about six miles north of Oxford.
Heathfield House is managed by an experienced nursing Manager who has worked with older people in retirement homes for many years. She is supported by a team of nurses, qualified carers and professional administrative staff. All our staff receive regular training updates and have been employed via a thorough recruitment process which includes references, police checks and interviews.
The care home offers comfortable accommodation for those of retirement age and above. We provide short breaks and longer-term care for up to 48 residents, and we are able to provide a safe and secure environment, along with full personal and nursing care.
You and your family are welcome to visit the residential home before you make any decision. Once we receive your application, our Manager will carry out an assessment to make sure that Heathfield House can provide for all your needs.
When you arrive, we will allocate you a named carer to help you settle in. Your carer will get to know you, your interests and your needs, so we can ensure we are meeting them.
Each resident has a personalised care plan setting out the services and medical treatments they might require. Your care plan is regularly reviewed, and we welcome any feedback you might wish to give.
We are happy for you to bring personal belongings into the care home for your room such as photographs and ornaments, or even furniture.
Visitors are always welcome at any time. Refreshments are freely available to visitors. You are able to go out with or visit family and friends whenever you like, so long as we know you are safe. With Oxford a short distance from the residential home, there are plenty of options for memorable outings.
